Services
Gibson Design Management is membership based. Currently our company offers the following services to our members:
- Accounting Services – Billed at $50.00/hour, our Accounting Services specialists can help with portions or all of a design firm’s accounting needs. This may include bank reconciliations, A/R, A/P, invoicing, analyzing reports such as work in progress, analyzing cash flow and deposits, plus much more. All accounting services work is done remotely through our members’ computers. In the future, this will be web-based.
- Purchase Order Management – In the interior design industry purchasing is extremely inefficient. By utilizing our Purchase Order Management team, our member firms cna benefit from the efficiency of having one point of contact for all of their purchasing needs. Instead of having to call multiple showrooms for pricing, they submit a request to us. We also manage and track all orders and receive the 100% deposit from the member firms to place the orders; that means that a design firm only must write one check instead of multiples, thus cutting down on accounting complexities. Our Purchase Order Management services are billed based on orders placed; typical percentage service fee is 10-15% on COGS (which included freight charges).
- CAD Services + 3D Rendering – Our members can outsorce any or all of their CAD and rendering needs to our team of CAD professionals. CAD and 3D renderings are charged a flat fee which is estimated before commencing.
- Project Sourcing – When one of our members needs to source furnishings, fabrics, accessories, and more for a project, they turn to us to provide resources and pull items from the showrooms. Project Sourcing is billed hourly at $50/hour.
- Social Media + Online PR – Gibson Design Management works with interior design firms to not only strategize how to best use social media to promote their businesses but we also help design firms implement the technologies. Examples of technology that we help designers integrate are blogs, e-newsletters, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and AvaLiving. this is a consulting arm of our business and a design firm does not have to be a member to utilize these services.
